Global Views – Commonwealth Publishing Group (CWGV) was founded in Taiwan in the 1980s, during a time when martial law and party bans were still in effect, and differing ideological views and thoughts of democracy and freedom were not encouraged. Undercurrents were stirring at the bottom of society; economically, we were facing the challenges of globalization. Individuals, corporations, and the nation as a whole were seeking direction for breakthrough.
Through news media and books, ideas with impact are spread. CWGV continuously promotes global views, emphasizes cross-strait development, and together with all sectors in society, has become a driving force of progress, working toward a better future for Taiwan.
For over forty years, Global Views – Commonwealth Publishing Group has adhered to the original purpose of its existence.
